  1. Custom hhea and OS/2 header

When editing certain fonts (such as Source Code Pro), the export modifies certain attributes that makes the new font behave differently than the original (line spacing in certain applications such as Fluent Terminal). Directly editing all OTF attributes including the Horizontal Header (hhea) and Windows Metrics Table (OS/2) would fix this.

  2. Snap a point to vertical or horizontal

A new Path Point action that would set the handles either vertically or horizontally, and lock them to that orientation. Useful for the extreme left/right/top/bottom points of curved shapes.

  4. Edit Guide colors and position values in the Glyph (guides) screen

The 'system guide' lines are too dim even when transparency is turned off. I'd like to be able to select my own guide colors on the Glyph Edit screen, by clicking on the orange color blocks. A pop-up color selector box would be perfect. Keep the transparency adjustment.

Also, make the guide position values adjustable on that screen, because I can see the glyph while adjusting (for a new font).

  7. Validate fields in font settings to catch illegal characters such as & since it generates an error in SVG

When exporting my font to SVG I kept getting an EntityRef error and finally figured out it was the & (ampersand) I placed in the name of the company in the copyright text field.

  8. Something as simple as adding an UP and DOWN arrow button adjust individual letters, this is an essential editing tool that I don’t see.

The button would allow you to make small incremental adjustments to letters up or down. Sometimes this is tricky when we are making those bounce letters and the letters are all over the baseline. The UP DOWN arrow button would be a lifesaver!!!🙌🏻☺️

  9. No Schwa letter in glyph collection

I found Capital Ə in Latin Extended-B glyph collection, but there is no small ə (Schwa). Do not be confused by small turned E ǝ it is not the same.
For test purpose try to use this text "Əlaqə".
And also, would be great to add glyph by code, if some letter is unsupported.

  12. export kern pairs and ligatures to .otf

You have nice tools for editing kern pairs and ligatures, but it pains me that I can't use them in .otf files. That's my primary target for my work.

  14. Move all shapes to the top-left corner and perfectly bound them using auto-width

This might be useful for UI designers who would like to be able to manually draw some glyphs using just the top-left corner of a rectangle and the name of the glyph.

  18. Optimizing contours

Now this writes all the lines as rrcurveto object with just only 6 arguments, but it causes enlargement of the font size.
So I think you should use more path construct operators.

  19. Change Line Height

Our designer wants to use Line height 150% allover the project. However, this causes unnecessary processes on iOS. For this reason, I tried to do this by editing the font file directly. But I couldn't do it. What is the way to increase the line height with editing font file. I don't want to change the height of the typing indicator.

  20. Unicode Block Name

I wish to see Unicode Block Name in Custom Glyph Range section of Font Settings, as is described in article: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicode_block.

Leave range as is, just add Block Name on left side before range.
