Optimizing contours
Now this writes all the lines as
rrcurveto
object with just only 6 arguments, but it causes enlargement of the font size.
So I think you should use more path construct operators.1 vote -

Batch import SVGs from a folder
For example, instead of importing each SVG individually for each letter, have them named A.svg, a.svg, B.svg, etc. Then, batch import the folder and they get assigned automatically.

Moving guides by dragging
It would be faster to just drag guides, instead of setting the place values.

Library of Shapes?
Shapes and components should be separate. Glyphs are (or can) be made of components. Components are made of shapes. I shouldn't need to go to a glyph to copy a shape--I should be able to select from a list of stored shapes to create a new component (just like I can select a component to make a new glyph. I don't see a library of shapes.

Create colored glyph (imported from a SVG file)
Hello,
this might be a duplicate, I am not very clear whether the suggestion I had has been transferred or not.
I am looking to add a colored glyph (I have an SVG file of my logotype icon) into my font. I think it would be a great addition, and if already possible, how can I do that?
I have some Emojis in my existing font, which I can't see, and when I import my SVG file, it appears all black and unreadable. I am planning to use the glyph to add the logo (always in the same color whatever…

A function to merge selected shapes of a selected glyph into a single shape within Glyphr Studio rather than on export.
Once you have laid out all you shapes to form the glyph, it would be very useful to be able to merge selected shapes to form a single contiguous shape

Create glyph from image
I think adding the ability to add glyphs from an image file would be a good thing to add, as it would speed up the creation process for those like myself who already have images made.

More hotkeys/shortcuts
More hotkeys, perhaps use "n" to select the "add point tool" since "n" is already nest to "b" and "v", which are hotkeys for the path and shape edit tools.
Also, hotkeys for the "new shape" tools would be nice, maybe "z" "x" "c" or "f" "g" "h" or "g" "h" "j"? something close to the other tool hotkeys would be best probably.
Finally a shortcut to import a .svg glyph when your in the glyph edit screen (and have it automagically import into the glyph you already had selected) would be nice. Perhaps "ctrl+i"?
TL;DR: More shortcuts and hotkeys…
